My why

I love the ethos of equality and the idea that support is not limited to resource, these can be cyclical. I also want to support the collective with a different voice in the room and learn from my peers, reciprocally.

Who am I?

Hello, I’m Sakina.
My training has been both lived and learned, including Hypnobirthing, Birth Trauma and loss.
My experience includes working with the NHS in Maternity and Perinatal Mental Health Services & have a particular interest in Equity & Diversity. I am also the Community Lead for Make Birth Better CIC.
I am a Level 6 trained Coach and Mentor and a student member of the British Psychological Society, I’m currently completing my MSC in Psychology.
I have regular therapeutic supervision to ensure my practice is safe and well considered.

You are planning for your birth, whether it be your first or further and would like support to navigate your options, have tools that feel personalised to you and a safe space to reflect on your journey and hopes, especially if you have experienced previous complexity through fertility, pregnancy, birth or postnatally.

Working individually, or with a partner 1:1 can be a useful time to pause and tune into the transition and what it means for you, as well as have some guidance to discover what feels important to you through the journey.

I work with expectant parents using trauma informed antenatal and Hypnobirthing tools.
If you’re wondering what therapeutic coaching is, it blends coaching tools with a holistic approach. It allows us to work at your pace towards deeper goals, holding in mind your experiences and environments.
All my work is trauma informed, so I aim to create a space that feels safe for you to explore.
