My why

I highly value the work of the Psychology Co-operative and its members. I found their thinking and offerings truly innovative and pioneering, and their values align with mine. I wanted to join a group of clinicians and people who are not afraid to challenge the status quo, and who believe that mental health is not only an individual matter, but also a systemic one.

Title

Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist, Advisory Board Member

Who am I?

I trained as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist at the Tavistock Clinic and I am a member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists. I have worked therapeutically with children, adolescents, young adults and parents for over 10 years, in a variety of NHS settings and in private practice.

My interest in supporting families postnatally led me to train as a Postpartum Care Practitioner. I am passionate about helping young people to understand how mind and body are interconnected. I run workshops on menstrual cycle awareness.

What do you offer the Psychology Co-operative?:

As a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, I offer my expertise in child development and a different lens to understand young people’s emotional world. I am passionate about sharing how brain development and our human physiology are intrinsically linked to how we think, feel and ultimately behave.
